Trousdale Estates

Overview

This Trousdale Estates residence was originally designed by the architect John Elgin Woolf for Mr. & Mrs. Paul Trousdale. DLD updated this iconic home while utilizing many of Mr. Woolf’s signature “Hollywood Regency” design principles. This was Ms. Livingston’s primary residence for several years and she incorporated all the custom design elements and details that she is so well known for.

“Even though this was featured in Architectural Digest’s Top 100 as my home, I no longer own this house but have had the opportunity to dine there on more than one occasion… and that’s when I knew I had left my legacy as a designer. It still looks gorgeous and the interiors have a sense of timelessness, which is exactly what I wanted. The home’s great bones and commanding site ensures that it will always remain a classic for decades to come.”

“It was love at first site from the moment I walked over the threshold of this John Woolf Hollywood Regency style house. It was a classic beauty that just needed my touch and additional master bedroom suite with his and her baths. It only took me 18 months to make my mark and yet stay within the style of John Woolf architectural genius.”
